The book I had to read: The MomShift

I’ve never pre-ordered a book before but when I heard about Reva Seth’s book The MomShift, a book based on interviews with over 500+ women who share their stories of achieving career success AFTER having children, I had to have a copy.

My blog, PassionSearcher, is an experiment intended to help me find my passion, maybe even my next career, and it arose from my desire to start thinking about how I want to spend my time, energy and talents once both of my girls are in full-day school. That day is coming soon, September 2014.

I wanted to read The MomShift in hopes of finding some useful advice on how to achieve my own career success after having had my children. I’d like to be a MomShifter myself and share my success story one day soon.

I reviewed the book as a guest post for The Second Assistant. If you’re interested in reading it, you can do so here.
